These beautifully crafted Makenge baskets are handwoven by artisans in rural Zambia.
Traditionally married women used these baskets to winnow grain, store roots or food, and to decorate their homes by hanging them on the wall.
Ours are plain for neutral home decor. Display on a table, use as a fruit bowl or hang on the wall for a beautiful statement piece.
The baskets include a subtle hook at the back.

Beautiful! So happy with these overall! And fast shipping too! Just one star less because the hook hanging on the back of two of the three baskets are very thin and flimsy. One snapped and basket fell off the wall within a day. Had to replace both hooks.
